Tapestry Friday Update: Week 10

Hello Friends of CLDI,

Happy Friday! This week we completed the backfill around the foundation and installed the storm drains for the rain leaders on the south side of the building. Due to the cold weather, the ground was frozen, and we had to bring in these special machines to dethaw the ground. We hope the thawing will work and then we can begin the underground rough-in for plumbing. Other successes are getting the exterior wall lines shot in and possible sewer line tie-in before the weekend. If not, then next week.

Looking forward to the week ahead, on Monday the 30th, the street will be closed down for underground city tie-ins (storm sewer & water). What day depends on how far the frost is. Framing material will also be delivered next Monday and Tuesday! The exterior wall framing will start Tuesday off-site.

We would love to give you a tour of the building site as well as the other works of CLDI. Click here to set up a time to meet!

Blessings.

Kaleb
