Tapestry Friday Update: Week 5

Over the holidays and the first part of the New Year, 108 geo piers were set! This process involves drilling large holes in the ground, filling them with aggregate, and then compacting them. This is a technique that more or less creates dense columns of compacted stone to which the footings for the foundation can then be set. This week, the exterior and interior footings were dug. After the footings have been dug, then the footings will be formed and made ready to pour concrete which will happen Tuesday of next week. If you would like to learn how you can partner with us to see this project completed, email or call us, and we would love to meet with you.
