Hello Friends of CLDI!

We officially have Tent City at the Tapestry site, which has been a success! The moisture levels and compaction tests are approved to proceed with the underground plumbing. We have also completed the forms for the piers (the support columns) and are ready for concrete next week. The city water service to the building is also complete. Meanwhile, off-site in the Langlas yard, the 2nd and 3rd floor exterior walls have been built, and they will begin to frame out the interior walls next week.

Coming up, we will finish the underground plumbing and plan to pour the concrete slab on the 23rd. Once this is complete, they will transport the walls and set them with a crane. Some of our challenges have been; the weather, but thankfully we now have the tent, getting some components for various essential parts, such as fire alarms, and finally, the inspections, which can slow up the process.

Have a great weekend and stay warm!

Blessings,

Kaleb
